I attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Afterwards I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center, where I developed a strong interest in spine surgery after caring for many patients with spinal cord injuries. This led me to pursue my spine surgery sub-specialization at NYU Langone where I learned the latest techniques in scoliosis, degenerative diseases, motion-sparing, and minimally invasive and robotic spine surgery.
I take a conservative approach to patient care. If my patient needs spine surgery I like to get to know them and truly understand their needs. This helps me develop a custom surgical plan for my patient to get them back to doing the things they love to do.
